As part of BOCA’s takeover schedule for 7 SOMMS IN 7 WEEKS, we proudly present the talented Danijela Tesic from two MICHELIN star restaurant STAY by Yannick Alleno taking over BOCA’s cellar for one night only on October 1st.
Each week, for one night only, a sommelier from a list of 7 extraordinary individuals collaborates with Chef Patricia Roig, BOCA’s Executive Chef, and Shiv Menon, Head of Hospitality & Wine, to curate a menu of five courses paired with five wines, presented exclusively to 12 guests in BOCA’s private cellar.
The menu will reflect the journeys, expertise, and personalities of the sommeliers, weaving narratives from diverse terroirs, grape varieties, and appellations. Emphasizing BOCA’s commitment to sustainability, the event will spotlight stories of winemakers excelling in conservation efforts.
The evening includes a welcome Champagne Frerejean Frères reception, a four-course meal with wine pairings, priced at AED 675++ per person, with limited seating for 12 guests.
About Danijela Tesic
Danijela Tesic, a talented sommelier from Belgrade, Serbia, is the Head Sommelier at STAY by Yannick AllĂ©no, One and Only the Palm. Initially pursuing aviation, her passion for wine was ignited in 2017 at Pampour wine bar, where she trained under Djuro Tosic. After four years of honing her skills, she moved to Dubai in 2021 to join 1*MICHELIN restaurant, Ossiano. Danijela’s achievements include winning the Sommelier Award by Michelin in 2022, reaching the finals of the Gault&Milllau Best Sommelier 2022 award, and earning a spot among the finalists of the esteemed “Corriere della Sera Wine List” in Italy.
